HIGHGATE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING FOR APRIL 8, 2010

PUBLIC NOTICE

TOWN OF HIGHGATE, VT

ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4464, the Highgate Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 8, 2010 starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Office Building to consider each of the following appeals:

A. Continuation of Conditional Use Appeal of Jay & Brittany Spaulding to construct two single family and three duplex residences in accordance with the Zoning Bylaws: Article V, Section 502 (Conditional Uses) and Article VIII, Section 800 (Single Family & Duplex Residences). The property is identified as Tax Parcel #008078060, Lots 1-6 off VT Route 78 in the Industrial/Commercial District.

B. Conditional Use Appeal of Doug & Gail Medor to construct a commercial septage treatment facility and a composting facility in accordance with the Zoning Bylaws: Article V, Section 502 (Conditional Uses) & Section 550 (Mixed Uses), and Article VIII, Section 800 (Business Service). The property is identified as Tax Parcel #0013078276 at 52 Transfer Station Road in the Industrial/Commercial District.

The application is on file for public review at Municipal Office Building at 2996 VT Route 78 during normal business hours. In accordance with 24 V.S.A. Section 4465, participation by an interested person in a land use regulatory proceeding is a prerequisite to filing a timely appeal of any board decision resulting from that specific proceeding. The hearings are open to the public.
